This site is located in the affluent town of Woodside where everyone here seems to own horses. The landscaping in the neighborhood is grandiose and the neighborhood is always very active.
Our creep data suggests a possible creep rate of ~0.4 mm/yr over the past 14 years, which amounts to a total of only about 6 mm's of movement. However, this is considered a locked (non-creeping) section of the San Andreas fault, and so close monitoring of this site is warranted. The data at this site also shows considerable annual site noise, so any creep signal is difficult to detect. With that caveat, the creep rate(?) at this site has apparently increased since 1999.
