the original, but the ideas are the same).
The Final Writing Assignment,
"Troughs and Ridges (the 'Wobbles') in the Jet Stream Pattern" (worth
30% of your grade for my half of the course) is now available. It will be
due Wednesday, Dec. 15 (during finals week). I encourage you to consult with
me while you're working on it if you don't feel confident about how you're
carrying out your highly idealized analysis of the development of a "wobble"
in the jet stream. The final writing assignment also recommends Reading
Questions #1b as background for part it.
